Quick drl foglight question

I want to VAGCOM my foglights as DRLs, would running HIDs be a bad idea with that setup?

IMO, HIDs only look good in a projector housing

I agree, so I was thinking either HID or projector for the fogs, and a buddy from work said he had a pair of HIDs I could have. Free is hard to turn down, but I was concerned with the constant igniting, if they would just burn out. Some days I drive short distances, all day. 5 mins across town, stay for 15 mins then drive 10 mins, stay for 10, and so on.

i changed my DTRL to my projector fogs to lessen the use of the HID headlights...but if somebody offered me a free HID kit for my projector fogs I would use it without thinking

yup kinda my thought... The euroswitch has DRL? Or just the auto position
