New Steering Rack - Lost Power Steering

I just replaced my steering rack with a junk yard part yesterday and now I have total loss of power steering with the red steering icon on the dash.

I looked at the ross tech wiki site which says to do basic settings and all of that but the first step is to look in module 44 (steering assist) and I have no communication with that controller. Other modules are opening, but that one isn't.

I'm guessing I either have a loose connection or the steering module is bad on this rack?

I don't want to pull it all apart again to find out it's something I'm missing on the software side of things though.

I tried driving it around the block but that didn't do anything.

Thoughts? I ran out of room in the post, so I got rid of everything that had no faults.

Fixed it. A harness was not connected. I was able to plug it back it without lowering the subframe.
