Don't have an answer for the issue, just want to jump on the "me too" train. :lol: I have a 06 GTI and it has had the same issue from day 1? no smoke, no oil on the ground nothing. It has 170k on now and just drove it from TX to NY and back, as long as I keep putting oil in I'm fine. yanking the engine in Jan to start a ground up re build so hoping that will fix the problem moving fwd.

I used to have this problem but when I switched where I get my oil changed, the problem almost went away. I used to have the dealer do my oil changes (Castrol) but the shop I go to now uses Amsoil iirc
