So, in the spirit of general maintenance after replacing my engine, I decided to put a new fuel filter in. I wanted to see how the old one looked, so I cut it at the weld, with a hacksaw.

New one is 6.6bar and the old one was 6.4. :iono:

The absolute best tool to get the clamps off is one of these guys: Grabbed onto the top and bottom of the clip perfectly, and they slid right off. http://www.autozone.com/wrenches-pl...lamp-pliers/oem-hose-clamp-pliers/607069_0_0/

I didn't really feel a difference, but I've been taking it easy the past few days. Based on the sight of it, I'd say flow wasn't restricted too much, although any tiny particles wouldn't be visible.

I was expecting more distinct discoloration at 40k though.
