I have a 2007 GTI 6 speed and For the past couple months my CEL comes and goes. When I engine break it feels almost like the front wheels lock up. The car becomes jerkish and feels like it is slamming forward. I took it to the dealer and they told me I needed to replace my HPFP. Roughly a week later I replaced the fuel pump, cam follower, and low pressure fuel sensor. This didn’t fix the issue and I am at a loss as to what I should do next. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have wondered if it is my precat O2 sensor. I don’t have Vagcom and getting the codes read has been an issue because the light turns on and off. Thanks!
