Installing the Audi Auto Dim Mirror with Compass in the GTI

:thumbup: Hey everyone! I'm getting my GTI on Friday and I had picked up a nice new Audi auto dimming mirror with compass. Im going to install it on Sat with hopes that it should work. I think the hardest part will be looking for a ground and power source near the mirror (sunroof controller?). The mounting points are the same so the mod will work.

I had got this mirror last month for my Passat, but then I wrecked it (thats why im getting a GTI) So I guess out of something bad, can come something good..

well your gti will have a compass built into it allready. but the auto dimming might be nice, good luck with the install

I would rather have the mirror with the rain sensor in it. But dimming would be nice. You should be able to get everything you need up in the moonroof area.
