Help! Engine blown?

Hey all,

2008 2.0t fsi, 120,XXX miles
Gassed it hard around a corner and a couple minutes later noticed weird idling. Made it home two minutes later, it seems to be running normal until I try and idle it and its revving up and down. Check under the hood and the oil cap housing is blown off. Far left cylinder when facing car, the coil pack and spark plug are covered in oil. The others look fairly normal. Ran a wet compression test and each cylinder is showing 35-40 psi. I was going to replace the spark plugs, pcv, and valve/cylinder head cover, but that's looking about $400.
What does that low pressure readout mean?
What is or could be going on?
I'm in a tight money spot. I know I had a good amount of blowby before because previously the oil cap often had positive pressure, also vapor sometimes came out. I know I should've replaced the pcv a while ago. Also to keep in mind that I am probably just going to try to get it running and sell it because it has other issues as well that I cant afford to keep sucking the money out of me.

Any ideas or advice are much appreciated,
Thank you
