Definitely not a car expert but I've got a 2007 MkV Automatic with an RCD300 (silver buttons, no mp3 logo) unit and no aux fitted. Would it be possible to use one of these to enable this? My understanding is it installs behind the gearstick in one of the blank slots.
Is anyone able to offer any insight on if this is compatible, and if so how I could go about installing it? I know that it does require using VCDS to recode the RCD300 and accept AUX when you press CD a couple times.
