Email confirmations broken- Gmail

FYI there appears to be an issue with this forum preventing email confirmation with gmail accounts- I setting up two separate accounts via gmail, but never received a confirmation email (I re- requested multiple times). Finally tried again with iCloud email and got a confirmation within seconds.

I had the same problem, I waited two months trying to get the confirmation email. The email I was trying to connect to was from gmail.
I've tried some more emails from other providers to no avail, except AOL. I received the confirmation email in seconds.

Just wanted to give some feedback. I couldn't login to my original account (started in 2016) because of the confirmed gmail issues. I ended up having to create a new account with an icloud email, and I received the confirmation immediately. Unfortunate that it's come to this, but I still like to bounce between forums.

Can confirm, been trying to register for weeks now.. just learned it is a gmail issue, switched to a different email provider today and it works.
