I'll answer for everyone...or the majority, is; No, not worth it for either stage.
It seems a majority of those who've ever done it, or a BOV, have returned to using a DV. Whether the DV be OEM or an aftermarket DV design.

I use AWE Tuning's DV1 diverter valve. It's been on since 2010 without any issues such as blowing out of the OEM DV. I went with the AWE DV because 2010 is when I got their K04 kit and DV relocation. However, I got the car in Nov. 2006 and between then and 2010, the OE DV never failed while at stage 1. These days folks seem to go through the DV more often. Not sure why this is and can only assume it's their boost level and/or the quality of DV they purchase. To include genuine VW/Audi. Those are not meant to run double the boost. My AWE DV1 is capable of containing 30+ psi. It easily handled holding up to 25 to 26 psi in mine for more than 6 years.
