Dead Pedal and Dash Cubby Install

Ready to race!
I just bought an MK5 dead pedal and dash cubby. My dead pedal didn't come with the adapter since I didn't order it from ECS. What are my options for installing the dead pedal w/o adapter? Also, is the dash cubby a simple install? My car is currently in the body shop so I can't tinker with it till its out. Any tips or advice. TIA

Which dash cubby are you talking about? The one that goes in below the light switch? Or the one that replaces the top center vents? The top one is basically one bolt to take it out and two bolts to install; the other one is a lot more involved.

As for the dead pedal, the install instructions are in here:

The adapter is basically a bent metal plate, so it shouldn't be too hard to fabricate.

dash cubby is the one by the light switch and the tray is the one that replaces vent on the top of the dash. the cubby should take you about 30 mins to install...mostly you are removing the dash surround and pointless structural members behind it. be careful removing the dash pieces so as to not break clips.

this DIY is done on an mk6, but mkv is exactly the same. see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWhR6Ghii2s

the tray should take about 5-10 minutes. you may be able to fabricate the metal piece as muahaahaa stated with some stuff from the hardware store for the dead pedal.
