For anybody who is familiar with the drive from Sacramento to Tahoe, it is a GTI driver dream come true if the traffic is not to bad, winding curves, big hills and sticky tires!

I have a 2007 GTI with about 33k miles on it, brakes are squeaking like crazy but seem to still be working fine. When did everybody else replace the rear brakes?

Removed the front plate, did my tint(5%) on the back 3, and put on my ese painted sidemarkers.

Which ones are better the Clear parts4euro.com sidemarkers, or the painted ese tuning ones? If you get the painted ones and remove the bulbs, do any alarms go off in the car?

This one is basically an office battle, between myself (GTI), and 2 friends at work who drive the Lancer EVO MR and the Mini Cooper S. I definitely think I would take the Mini, but the Lancer has so much more Horespower it may be hard to take him out. What do you think.:iono:

I went in and grabbed a bulb for the right side of my license plate, since it does not work, swapped the bulb and still won't work. Looks like something else is wrong.......:mad:
