I think it sucks that our cars can be driven without the fob once you start the car. What idiot designed that? The engine should stop once you get like 20 feet away from the car. No wonder more cars are stolen now. If I was an insurance company, I would refuse to insure them, like they do now with certain Hyundais. My brother had one of those SUVs. It had keyless start, so it had the immobilizer, but his insurance company told him they would no longer insure it. They didn't want to check to see if a particular vehicle had the immobilizer. He called other companies and got quotes. The ones that would insure him wanted way too much. He traded it about a month ago for a new truck.
