Side to side shifter slop

Guess I’m going with these upgrades. Looks like my cables were rubbing on my downpipe and side to side cable got damaged from the heat after a track day. Noticed my side to side didn’t return bounce back to neutral. I’ll document more pictures. But since the whole shifter tower is out, probably easier to upgrade the super pin, first gear getter and shaft bushings all at once. I also got the 42dd shifter cable bracket support just to lift up the lines from the downpipe. Just waiting for all the parts now

I just realized I never posted a follow-up here. I got the super pin and other DieselGeek parts installed. I wrote up a pretty thorough post with pictures and my impressions in my build thread. 10/10 would recommend this upgrade.

wow thanks for your write up too, still waiting for the parts to come. definitely jelly of your lift haha, doing this on jack stands and getting everything off was somewhat struggle, but not bad at all.
