Taking a Bath in the GTI * Update 6/12 Water Everywhere
Anybody else given thoughts to taking a bath in the GTI?
My wifes GTI has seemed to always have a hint of a smell of mildew.
I never did really think anything of it.
Especially since all the rain we have received here in North Texas...
I went to the dealer last Tuesday.
I told the service guy that it was a 2007 GTI with the 2.0L Turbo.
I asked him how much they were, and he said $8.50.
I told him I would take two of them.
He came back with the two boxed filters... I took them assuming they were the right filters and paid and...

2. Crawl underneath and look at the passenger backside of the motor.
You'll see what appears to be a turbo, and the large black diverter valve.
