Decided to do some diesel stuff tonight.
This is my dads truck, full resto mod & respray. Anyway, turns out my pointing out it had a pre turbo exhaust leak in pre purchase videos was worse than anticipated.
Yeah, it wasn’t a broken exhaust manifold (common), it was a broken cylinder head.
Soooooo now instead of just swapping on a three piece manifold (expansion joints keep things from snapping off) & a modern Cummins Holset turbo now I’ll be doing ARP studs, head gasket & a new cylinder head.
