i swear im going to be a specialist by the time this is over

my fx350 cant hold the f23t anymore (too many miles on the clutch now... about 35k) and im looking to replace it with something that can hold the f23t power and last awhile.

ive been emailing cm on this and a guy named kevin (cool guy that helped me in the past) was telling me the fx400 will hold it for sure but id sacrifice long term wear. he told me to go for an fx200 but im skeptical it will hold but idk. kevin said the fx200 last longer than an fx350 at least.

my questions that im wondering is; will an fx300 be better for longevity and still hold? is an fx200 actually what i want? how many miles does the average fx400 6puck last?

other question, can i use my steel smf with a southbend clutch? if so, what would you all recommend? i tried emailing sb but im waiting on a response and i asked these questions to Deutsche but they couldnt tell me for sure.

Why is this such an issue with our cars? It seems like there is so much woe in all the aftermarket clutch threads and that is pretty alarming considering how much the parts and labor cost for the MKVs... :mad0259:

RSR or SRE clutch. No clue why a aftermarket clutch cant hold a K04/F23T and have that much hassle.

I think many people have leaking throwout bearings that ruin the friction surface.

Did you really just burn through the fx350 material?
