Fog is the new softbox...STI content inside

so my car is dirty as hell but my friend washed his sti so we headed out into the fog for some quick pics. this was the first time we both shot in really heavy fog so we didnt know how soft the light from the flashes would be. well its pretty much a softbox lol. it was cold as balls outside so we didnt shoot for very long, but we were able to get some decent shots. his turned out better than mine cuz his camera was set with the flashes(i just borrowed his transmitter)...plus he has a D3 with VR lenses lol. this was shot with my D200 and a 14mm prime. i only took a couple but here they are.

i havent posted any pics for quite a while so what do you think?

I like the effect, different, makes the metallic pop!

although wondering about that road your parked in the middle of :biggrin:

So I am guessing you are still not a fan of the design of the front?

Nice shots. Shooting in fog can be a pain

i just borrowed my friends. he got the 14-24 2.8, so the prime is just an extra.

i love the design of the front, but we have limited time to shoot on this road. we kept on getting bothered by the security guard and athletic director. i will be heading back to this spot in the future, its a really great road to shoot on.
