Changing Speed dials to have MPH/KPH

Hey guys,

I have recently imported my car in the UK from France and regulations say i need to change the speedometer.

I got my hands on MPH/KPH dials but have no idea how to fit them in the proper way...

Has anyone been able to remove the dashboard to fit someting similar in?

Lemme know! I'm desperate to find a way since VW dealers charge a fortune for this

its quite a bit of work i would assume. when i look at it it looks integrated w. the dash.

I imagine it would be quite tricky since it'd involve disassembly of pretty much the entire dash area and possibly removal of the steering column to allow access - this is presumably why it's so expensive. 'Fraid I can't help.
