GTI door sill covers?

So I have to know... do any US mkv GTI owners have these?

Mine don't

According to Fischer Motorsports these are the stock GTI door sills. I am wondering if they are only stock on the Euro spec model or something.:iono:

no our ones out here in australia dont have them either, the polo gti has them though, the golf gti gets plain ones with no gti on them still chrome though.

I have them on mine. i think its comes with the package 2. atleast thats what my salesperson told me.

They do add a nice touch but wouldn't tey be even sweeter if they lit up in a red or blue glow when you open the door, That would look sweet at night. I had some on my Dodge Magnum, aftermarket though.

It doesn't matter which Pkg you have. All GTI's are supposed to have them. However, there's a lengthy thread discussing this anomaly in the VWVortex forums. It looks like a batch of GTI's were built using a generic alumnimun sill trim. There's really no pattern here.
