Anyone think about painting the plastic between side mirrors and body?

You know, that black piece of plastic that attaches the side view mirrors to the door, anyone though about painting those the same color as the car?

its basicaly the same plastic that is used on the lower body panels correct? So it shouldnt be too big of a deal to paint. Since i have BMP i dont really need to paint them.

My future GTI is also going to be Black Magic but I also am planning to paint the plastic on the sidemirrors in the body colour.

I have black and all sideskirts, mirrors, etc are close enough for me. Not going to worry about it.

I think it depends on the color car. I like the fact that my CW has the black accents. Black and white look good together IMO.

i got a UG rabbit and i thought about it.. instead imma get a 2 tone done flat black taped off right over the rub strips and its gonna follow the 1 inch flats of the fenders into the bumper not sure ware i want the rear to tape off tho
