Red GTI MkV vs my 2001 Camaro V6

yes, i can admit defeat. I have a 2001 3.8L V6 Camaro. It has GMs performance package which includes a limited-slip and 3.42 rear axle ratio. I have intake, header-back exhaust and hypertech tuning (which adds about 13rwhp). I raced someone with a Red GTI MkV from about a 10mph roll and i ran next to him pretty much till about 50 when we both had to slow down. Then we raced again from about a 45mph roll and he def. pulled on me. I was very surprised with its performance. Im pretty sure it was stock as well. I was planning on getting rid of my car soon so now I am def. thinking about getting a MkV.

BTW...my camaro runs a 15.1 @ 90.3mph

MKV's aren't bad at all. Get one!:smile:

Camaros are really nice cars also, but they weigh a ton! I think that the GTI is a much better car hands down. If you want anything that resembles performance go with the 5.7 liter V8.:thumbup:
