as i look down my dvd collection here are some that stand out, (if they've been said already i apologize) American History X, Almost Famous, Basketball Diaries, The Beach (not a big dicaprio fan, they just happen to be alphabetically next to each other), Blow (not porn, johnny depp), Boondock Saints, The Count of Monte Cristo (2002 version), G.I. Jane, Girl next door, Hackers, KIDS, Ladder 49, Memento, A Perfect Murder, Resevoir Dogs, The Skulls, Taxi Driver, Tommy Boy, Trainspotting, Troy, Usual Suspects, Van Wilder...
Since i'm a girl i had have alot of "chick flicks" too, not the notebook though.

soem great suggestions here...alot of them i have already seen tho...but some i havent like Boondock Saints...may have to check that one out but it doesnt get released on dvd till the 23rd of this month

also by the "no chick flick" comment...i really ment the real bad movies like "ya ya sisterhood" and "sisterhood of the traveling pants" kinda movies...the "the notebook" refrence just sorta came out...ive actually seen the movie and its an decent movie

BTW one of my all time favorite movies is American History X....great movie with some great actors and a great story

Chronicles of Narnia was pretty sweet. Is it out yet? Momento=great movie. What about One Hour Photo, Fargo, Sin City, Taxi Driver (that's an oldie but a goodie), Insomnia, any and all of the Star Wars movies, Joe Dirt ("Why don't you go over there and practice spitting teeth out"). There's one I remember called Thirteenth Floor or something like that. It was real good. I don't know, I guess we could all go on forever. I think I have about 200 DVD's downstairs I could go look at.

Ah, Sin City...I still haven't seen it! Somebody slap me.

And yes, Narnia came out a few weeks ago. It slid right under my radar, too. Didn't know it was on DVD until I saw it at Best Buy (and bought it)
