DSG 1/4 mile help

Those of you who have hit 13's with the dsg transmission i have a question. "I dont have launch control"
First did you leave it in sport mode with traction control off?
or did you shift with the paddles?
I have stage 2 beta apr, Atp downpipe and neuspeed intake. and will a catback actually lower the times that much?
sounds stupid i know....

What's a good time for a stock GTI with DSG? I've only run it 3 times and got 14.4 every time (with radio and climate on!). had LC flashed though.

Did you leave it in sport mode? If you notice while in sport mode, the power dies off little after 6k. If you manual shift it at around that RPM, I dunno, you might have a better time.

I left it in sport mode with traction off. I didn't manually shift it though. I was pretty nervous lol . thanks for the great tip!:w00t:
