Guys,

Due to a change in financial circumstance i need to sell up and get something cheaper to clear a loan (not on the car!)

Car is:
CW
mar 06
Bought new from UK VW dealer
3dr
9k on clock
18's
winter pack
armrest
parking sensors
highline
lifeshine

Had first service as is on full maintenance.

Car is pretty much mint bar a small 2cm scar on one of the alloys.

Question is - how much do i put it up for (not desparate for cash so wont take silly money), and also where the best place to put it is. Dont wanna spend £££ trying to sell it!

Its a manual.

Not a fan of auto's, though the DSG was excellent when i test drove it, the manual was s much more fun to throw about!

Also has a parrot 3200 handsfree kit hardwired in.

interesting. your looking for a cheaper car.

i have a golf 1.4 that is a similar age as yours. almost 6k on the clock.

could be a swap plus cash from me. only thing stopping me is the issue of having a white car.

oh.. well its up to you. its cheap to run but it is terribly slow.. and taking such a step down would kill me

i guess your right. i suppose the reason he bought a GTI in the 1st place is cos he does like a bit of grunt.

if he wants a cheaper car with similar grunt, hes gona have 2 get some 5 year old random car that wont have the same classiness as the MK5.
