I know this topic has been done already, but here is a picture of the antenna I got off eBay the other day, attached to my GTI:

something odd i experienced with the stubbies...

i bought my wife one just like that for her 04 J wagon. My friend has an 02 GTI with an audi tt antenna. I can swap their antennas out no problem. HOWEVER, my wif's will not screw into my base yet my friend's TT antenna will

wierd eh?

Very strange, as I thought the 06 used the same antenna as the Audi. The one I purchased came with 4 different base screws, so it would seem to work with most cars. And it was only $13.00, shipping included . . . .

And the reception is not half bad . . . .
