Radar Detector Suggestions

Hey everyone.
Now of course I recommend going the speed limit, but....
If you were to suggest a radar detector, which brand and model would you recommend?
And does anyone know of a reasonably priced unit that can be
discreetly installed with just a small warning light somewhere on the dash?

Buy A V1 and never look back.

My Passport Solo2 has already saved me several times in the couple of weeks I've had it. I went with this over the Valentine because it runs on batteries.

V1 remote mount and a Rocky Mtn passive jammer too.

I bought a cobra from wall mart for about 85 bucks. It covers all bands that are out there. Includeing all the laser and all that jazz. It talks to you to tell you what band is being picked up. Has a signal meter,the closer it is the higher the number. I picked up a local cop in town, he was almost a mile away. Seems to work just great to me for 85 bucks!!!!!!! The remote mounts are nice. The MKV seems too low in the front and no real holes anywhere to mount it properly. The remote one the dude above has really isnt all that remote since its in your front window anyway. It can be seen just as easy as the 85 buck wal-mart jobby.

I am using Escort Passport 8500 red, so far very happy, saved my life couple of times, next i might give a shot to Valentine
