How hard is the clear coat on a MkV

Good evening,

I have been hearing stories abut how HARD the clear coat is on the MkV, and that ‘ScratchX’ did darn little to my swirl I’m beginning to become a believer. When I go out to Mothers or Meguiar’s I get the company line but what should I be using? My ride has several coats of NXT, 3 to 4 but spring is just about here and I'm getting ready for a complete strip down and rebuild of the wax.

Any suggestions will e greatly appreciated

My ride just after a wash, no wipe down, no detailing spray, no spray wax.

do you have a random orbital? if not then you are very limited. look into the zaino line of products they are meant to be used by hand

I have a PC 7424 on order that should be here witnin a week but I'm waiting to select the product before I purchase the backing plate and pads.
