has anyone else had this problem?

ive heard of it on the 'tex. but how about some of u other Mark V'ers.

Has anyone else here had the cylender 2 missfire? if so, were some of u the ones with the dredded lifter issue?




anyway..... im currently rockin a nissan sentra 1.8s.




and burnin the *@o% out of it!!!!!!:redface:

what symptoms did you have? mine, during warmer weather, would idle rough sometimes, and twice in the cold it didnt start right, but never threw a code and still ran fine.

well, the issue started while running it hard. under acceleration, or lack there of, it would struggle to gain speed. kinda like the feeling of a clutch slipping, trying to gain speed. but i know its not that. i also noticed a high idle, and would feel thudding in the brake peddle while at idle.

so i took it to induktion. they plugged it in and the codes read multiple cylinder misfire, targeting cyl 2.

anyway the dealers got it now and theyre starting by replacing the coil packs, then moving on to the spark plugs. and if that doesnt fix the problem, which it should, im worried it may be a lifter issue.
