Valentine One Detector w/ custom remote display install

I just added this to my ride after getting the remote display kit from V1 and having the LED's modded to show different colors for different radar bands. I've had the V1 for almost 6 years now, it's a must have item. I highly recommend the remote display if anyone has a V1 and doesn't have one yet. You can remotely mute it, and it shuts the main display off, everything is routed to the remote display, keeping a stealth look, and hiding the main detector up high, out of the way, and where it gets the best range and view of the road.

Did you hardwire the radar yourself? What about the remote display kit?

I had my buddy who works for a stereo shop do it. Yes, the V1 is hardwired in, so it turns on and off with the ignition of the car. The remote display comes with everything to wire it up, and the V1 main unit comes with the hardwiring kit as a part of the package when you buy it.
