so i'm loving the camera. here are some shots i took with the camera and the kit lens. these pics were taken the 1st and 2nd day I owned the camera. I have a lot of learning to do and i think i have a new obsession as well

Nice. Any post processing? From the looks of the pics, seems you got a pretty good idea of how to use it. Your aquarium pics look good. What ISO did you use for those?

no post processing on any of them. I do need to learn how to use photoshop though.

also for the pics of the jellyfish, ISO 320 and the shutter speed was set at 1/8

hahhaha it was at the monterey aquarium in monterey, ca.

Grmncrsnbr - i love the d5000, the articulating screen is so sick, you could get some sick angles without getting in a uncomfortable position
