If you have powerflex bushings...better check them...

I have an email in to powerflex to find out what's up with this and what I can do. I have installed two washers (biggest I can find with the same hole size) to keep them from pushing out as they have been. I'll let you know what powerflex says...

Anyone with the VF have any problems? There is DEFINITE load on these, enough to deform and split polyurathane!

I was actually under the car for something completely different (DV) and saw one of them pouring out, almost literally. It was pushed right out of the dogbone on the back end...that's the one that was split. The one above was also coming out.

Yea, and maybe a higher grade that wouldn't melt like this!

Still want to see someone's VF mount to see if they suffer from deformity too.

So would you say that you do have regrets then?

That looks like a crappy deal though. Thanks for posting it. How long did you have these in the car?

i have all VF's mounts and none of them are deformed/broken. i don't have a pic for ya', but i was just under the car for the same reason as you. i was checking forge's DV and my install.
all looks well with my forge DV btw...heh-heh.

ehem...on my car VFE's mounts look fine.
no perfs
no ruptures
no splits
no melting

all is well.

Thank you for the info. Hopefully powerflex replies soon.

Only had these maybe 5k miles.

You think there's a cocern with just the ECS dogbone? I wouldn't think so since it's still the stock mount with a piece of polyurathane.

i dont think it will be a big problem with ecs dogbone bc the stock mount is still in there and not taking 100% of the force, it is just taking the force the stock cant hold.

So lets say the stock can take 50% of the force, to the ecs is only taking 50% of the force.

but the other part of the dogbone (one powwerflex is replacing) is taking 100% of the force

Thats my take on it atleast...
