Normally I'm not a fan of this kind of dashmods.... but this looks really good

I actually scuff the parts with an aggressive 3M pad, then spray them with a reducer. The rubber wrinkles and I just kinda sand it off from there. Not all of it comes off, so from there it's tedious sanding and a couple good coats of 2K primer. If the soft touch material isn't scratched or chipped you can prime over it with a light rattle can primer, starting very lightly and getting heavier with each coat, but you still run the risk of it not working and having to backtrack...
