it works better if you use 400x240 folder. Anyway, you need to have 800x480 folder in data.zip and branding.zip.

and gurjon standalone skin : http://www.gurjon.com/download/files/iGO/GJ_CURR_SKIN/GJ6.12.p_da_480x800_800x480.zip

this files will work only with igo versions support _da data, best version is 13 august, build 8.34.102680

I will try this with the links above... BUT do I still use the 800x480 skins and data.zip with 800x480 or with 400x240? How should my sys.txt read to get the 400x240 to display correctly on the 800x480 screen? So I have to use the 400x240 directory with highres=0 (to double resolution) and the raw screen set to 800x480? I'm so confused... I've messed with this thing for days and all I have determined is that I do not like 800x480 at all!! Just want a lower resolution that works!!

The files posted are good for any resolution. for better performance use in sys.txt 400x240 highres 0, display size 800x480, with the files posted except gurjon skin, you need the normal one, dwl from gurjon site. Will work.

one more thing, in sys.txt should VGA=0 or 1? for 400x240 or 800x480?
oh and also stretch=0 or stretch=1?

I hate the sys.txt file!! haha

but if I choose the 400_200 directory will the rawdisplay 800x480 stretch it out full screen? I guess I'll just have to play with it. Althuogh I've been racking my brain over these damn settings for days! Starting to hate iGO8 and it's finickyness..

Still only showing the top fourth of the screen

koreanmonk, you should post a picture here. The main menu in gps mode ( red-black) is fullscreen ??? If yes, you have problems with sys.txt in igo. Try amigo, miomap, see if work fullscreen.

Thats on any screen of the GPS. The screen works fine on everything else.
DVD's are full screen and nothing gets cut off like that except the navigation software

Thats the build I used for Morty, even though he still has a few issues with the GJ skin.

You have the wrong resolution.
Use the files Petrums listed, vga 0 and post back.
