vibration/pulsation at 80 - 90 mph...

Dudes,

I've been getting vibration when hitting 80mph. It lasts until around 90mph, then goes away. I first thought it was my wheels and that I needed to balance them. Well I then put on a new set of wheels/tires balanced straight from tirerack, and still getting the same vibe problem.

I'm wondering if it is related to bearings going bad? Apparently, when they go, it starts to make a whining noise. I'm not getting that sound, just the vibration...

Any tips or thoughts would be appreciated.

Simple, don't drive 80.

i think you just solved his problem, because him trying to figure out what parts may be bad on his car wont work to fix the vibration problem at all.

Strut mounts can cause a vibration so could bad parts, ie bad tie rods or ball joints anything that allows a slight play in the steering will cause a vibration at higher speeds. hope this helps.
