Stock turbo?

Well I don't know how many people here will remember my presence on the site, but I owned my MKV GTI for two years before I got rid of it. The reason I came back on is I am having a brain fart and have a question. I was having a conversation with someone about the GTI earlier, and they asked me what the stock turbo on it is. It completely slipped my mind what the MKV GTI uses for it's stock turbo. Answers anybody?

I thought it wasn't a K03 and not a K04 but a hybrid of the two?

Gunter injection--straight from Germany. Sausage and kraut straight into the intake, and it makes the car go like stink.

K03's are a journal-bearing turbo I believe, which is basically a shaft.
