Totally stock car, ~23k miles on it. Up until recently the clutch pedal had gone through it's movement buttery smoothly. Now occasionally the movement has a slightly rougher feel to it, mostly near the sweet spot where the clutch is really starting to engage. No noise associated with it. Feels like a high-frequency vibration, almost like if two rubber pieces were rubbing against each other and squeaking. Never happens when the clutch is all the way down or up, just in between.
Anyone have a clue what might be the cause? Is this a symptom of a dying clutch? Could something just be rubbing? It's infrequent enough that it might not act up if I took it in to have service look at it, but frequent enough that I notice it at least one drive every day. Sometimes it seems like it's there at the beginning of a drive but not after going a few files.
