The best news i've woken up to in a long time! Schumacher is back to drive in Massa seat until he is able to drive again.

At the same time, BMW Sauber have pulled out of F1 at the end of 2009 season.

Good news is always followed by bad!

I reckon it COULD be a bad thing that Schuey is coming back. People and fans will expect way too much from him.

Funny that he's back after his manager spent the last two days saying "200% he will not drive for Ferrari again" lol

I don't think people will expect too much of him,not the ones that follow racing anyway. He hasn't even driven a F1 car for more than a year, hasn't driven these new ones at all, not F1 fit (although still very fit) and had a large motorcycle accident earlier this year. Having said that i'd love for him to come out and trump em all!

totally agree with DRMAT.... hopefully he does just come back and takes it to the young ones to show them a bit of action .... but on the other hand i hope he doesn't come back and just make up the numbers at the back of the field... which is what i think will happen

I don't think he'll be making up the numbers though, even on his worst day he's still better than at least 3/4 of the drivers out there and while the Fezza isn't on race winning pace its not dog slow either.

^^ that's true.... he'll still be at best be competing for a podium if the ferrari is on pace for the race.... but yea definately wouldn't like him to get himself into any race incidents where it'll put him to the back of the field...

but i would like to see the 'schumacher-esk' drive from the back of the field and fighting through ....

be good for him to at least be in the points next month in spain ... i wonder how he will like this yrs car

Oh hell yeah.... just picture it, Fezza has to start form the back, pouring rain and Schuey is passing people left right and centre.

Whilst I doubt it's possible to be anywhere near as quick as Hamilton, Red Bull Brawn etc given his lack of training, I look forward to this as I miss his win-at-all-cost approach to racing. Other than Hamilton, I don't really see that anymore.

Excpet from Nakajima, but that usually results in 'all cost' every race and still no points haha. Sebastien Bourdais will probably finish the year with more points sitting at home!
