Removed oil filler extension... now spraying oil... WTF!

As the title states, now im getting spray on my hood liner, coil pack and valve cover. Oil cap gasket appears fine. Its not gushing, but these pictures are after 4-5 days after I cleaned it up last... maybe 200-300 miles.

Any thoughts? :iono:

I never noted one, i dunno. I dont think I saw one when I removed the extension

Check your PVC valve (front) And check oil cap gasket to make sure it's not bad.

Well it rodent do this until I removed the fill neck, so I think that is.what caused this.

Could be that it didn't leak before since the oil filler neck made it harder for the oil pressure to reach the top. And now since the oil cap is right on the valve cover it's more exposed to the oil and pressure. Take pics of the valve cover with the cap off (close up) to see if there is any deviations.

you on stock pcv system? pic's make it hard to see detail.

i removed mine with no issues, but i don't have the stock pcv system and my oil cap is new. looks like you removed it just fine from what i see in the pic.

I removed mine and ive had zero issues but i have the BSH stage 1 PCV fix

had the same thought when I looked. I removed mine with no issues, but like others, I had a vta cc.

Wow good eye, it does look like a crack. He shoulda ran the engine hot before doing this.
