R32 front conversion: Foam Support Trim

How much is supposed to get trimmed and where? I'm guessing the 2 farthest points on either side?

Easiest trimming tool?

Generally for foam an electric knife(meant for carving meat) works well. But really, any sharp object that's long enough would probably work.
As far as where.
Personally I'd measure the new part you're putting on. And if you want to get fancy, take a piece of cardboard and cut it to fit perfectly. And then just cut the foam to match the cardboard template you just made.
