Hi guys,

I will be dropping by to Sydney for four days, the last time i visited sydney was 5 years ago.

Anyone can recommend me or suggest any nice place to see, eat ,shop and sight seeing ?

Pls give me some suggestion and guidance there... i'm basically like a new visitor again to sydney ...

Too bad I'm not driving there... if not we can GTG or go for a car cruise.. :)

Thanks in advanced guys... :)

Weather here sucks at the moment, so it will ruin the experience.

Go for lunch at LASHINGS in Drummoyne (think i spelled it right)

They make awesome chicken burgers !! :p

How about Bondi for a lunch.. if the weather is good.

Hi .. yeh check out darling harbour, its probably changed since you were there last... the casino isnt bad either....."chatswood" spelling... for shopping yeh ok... but if your going to bondi.. you may aswell drive up the road a bit and go to westfields in Bondi Junction..... if your up with your misses take her to ICEBERGS on bondi beach for lunch, may even spot a celeb..

cheers mario..

Agree with Mario.

See Darling Harbour & Opera House. Catch ferry to Manly (40min) and have lunch by Manly Beach (short walk from ferry - 250m) - Return to Sydney by ferry.

I been living in Sydney for over 10 years now & still love catching the ferry to Manly.

Taronga Zoo if you like animals; Otherwise 'The Rocks' for dinner & few drinks. Can see some of the old original coblestone laneways from 200 years ago.

Don't forget Kings Cross for something different. Just sit down & watch the circus. Some nice resturants just off 'the strip'.

Can't forget the Bridge Walk & Centre Point Tower so you can see most of inner Sydney & Olympic Statium.

Oh Yeah; A stroll thru the Botanical Gardens just behind Opera House.

Cheers
James

Bondi is pretty much straight down Oxford St from the CBD..depends how your getting around here. Bondi Westfields is big.. but is the same as every other Westfield and confused the crap out of me with its layout. Try Pitt St Mall in the CBD

Mmm 'Pancakes on the Rocks' would be a place to treat yourself :)

Ferry trip to Manly as WhiteJames said would be a nice idea if the weather holds up.

Darling Harbour / Kings Cross if your into the clubbing/bar scene @ night.

If you like spicy asian, don't miss the Malaya on Hunter St.
They do a superb laksa (spicy soup with thin noodles and your choice of meat, or seafood or vege).

Ask for 'skinless chicken' laksa and you get an upgrade to breast pieces.
