Hi all

I am driving a APR K04 FSI, with autotech pump and all other supporting mods. Pump and camfollower only done 1000miles

i have been getting fuel cuts and sometimes engine dies while running !!

used vagcom got a code for P310b. which i replaced the fuel pressure sensor with a new K version.

went for a drive fuel cut still there and same code came on again.

any ideas? i have searched and all leads to the sensor which i have replaced

THanks
Kevin

when replacing the in tank fuel pump you must conduct a readaptation of the Fuel pump control unit -J538-

This can be done by the following on the VAGCOM
Fuel Pump
Prerequisites:
Ignition ON
Engine ON
System voltage at least 11.0 V.

[Select]
[01 - Engine]
[Basic Settings - 04]
Group 103
[Go!]
Activate the Basic Setting.
[ON/OFF/Next]
Wait until Field 4 shows "ADP. O.K.".
[Done, Go Back]
[Close Controller, Go Back - 06]

Switch Ignition OFF.

see how it goes

Hi,

Im having the same problem with my car. I have also changed all the fuel system related hardware but I still experience fuel cuts and the engine stalling and then difficulty starting it again.

Was there any closure to your problem Dream?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
