Exactly what the title says.. the epc light had come on a few times before and extinguished fairly quickly. yesterday however, both of them came on at the same time, the EPC light went out, but the chk eng stayed on. P0221 is the code i got, probable cause: TPS (throttle position sensor) or APP (accelerator pedal position) sensor shorted or open. can anyone help or share some wisdom please, this is really annoying me, especially since my car just got to the end of its warranty ;( btw its an 09 GTI... am i about to be bent over by the dealer or is this an easy fix?
