Oil light keep showing on clocks

Hi all

I have a 55 plate GT TDI in the clocks the oil can logo in yellow keeps showing. There is own in the engine dipstick is on 3 quarters full.

Also this never happened before be yesterday was driving and the temp gauge on the clocks shot up to max. The warning on the dash said stop. The flash once was on for about 1 second and goes back to 90. It did it 2 times and did not do it again?

Help someone can shed some light on this

Mine did that too. But it was actually low that before I knew gti's burned a quart about every 500-1000 miles. I'd just keep an eye on your oil level and see if it happens again
