I would like to thank VW for planning my next vehicle. It will be after the KIA is paid off in the next 3 years which will also be about the time children will be considered. I had already decided that 7 seats was a must so that there would be plenty of room for the pups in the back when 4 seats are needed and had been looking at Ford for the solution. Then VW drops this at the Detroit Auto show. Diesel hybrid with up to 510ft/lbs of torque. Yes please. Should be built in Tenn on the MQB platform and come in around the price of the Flex/Explorer.

So far they only have a 6 seat config which would also work.

The tail lights ruin the rear for me. I don't like the design on the CLS either. Outside of that not too shabby.

How are you liking the Wildpeaks Roy?

I like them, they have issues in mud if you slow down too much but outside of that great tire. Still dead silent on the road.

I may be doing a clutch replacement here soon or at least replacing my pilot and throw out bearings.

Good to know about silent on the road. We picked up some for my dads truck once I get the lift on it. I heard great things about them everywhere and the same thing about mud, but thats any a/t tire.

Just found a way that I can lock my rear diff in 2wd with the FJ, MAD DRIFT TIME.
