As the title states. I will be getting these installed soon on stock shocks. I have been reading lots of posts on here about the bumpstomps needing to be cut, the response is everyone does it because it was done before but there is no real explaination why. So my question is, do I need to cut them and if so where exactly.

Thx in advance.

I trimmed the bumpstops on the front.....go to swankmonkey.com and look for the suspension install. There is a picture of where to trim it to

I have the neuspeed sports plus the koni fsd's and i didn't cut my bump stops. I haven't felt it bottom out yet either. I figured if it became a problem i would go back in :shudder: but in almost 3 months I haven't noticed any issues yet. The neuspeeds aren't that low really, at least compared to the other springs available, and they have a higher spring rate then stock so I don't think it will be a problem.
