Step 7: there will be a black computer underneath the steering column do not pull that down yo can get the wires from the black plug that goes into it

step 8: pic 2 take pic tool and push red clip away from the plug

Step 9: strip away the tape you will need the red/black (starter) and black (IGN) wire ......(colours may vary i have done a bunch of these and there has been a few different colours) those will be your IGN and STRT wires test to see wich is wich i cant remember ....the starter one will only go posative for the crank time for those who dont know

Step 10: strip back the tape on the headlight swich wire this will be for your parklights ...cut the black white wire in half and strip the brown wire (once again colours may vary) use a relay to hook them up i will post a pic of a diagram below (pic of it wired is last pic in this and diagram will be first pic next line)

Step 11: E Brake wire for standard trans will be in the harness running by the drivers foot there will be a screw down there holding the panel on the wire will be in the harness running in there (cant rmember colour maby light blew)

Step 12: Ground out The system to the factory ground in the driverside kickpanel

Step 13: Pic 3 will be the CANBUS wires used through the modeul i have wich works door lockes hood status and hood pin safty opens gas cap will roll windows up and down and open gas cap and sunroof

Step 14: Power wire for your starter will be found in the drivers kick just above the foot rest

Step 15:pos clutch bypass for standard cars you can just run the pos start wire to hear the wire will be red black in drivers kick pic 5 ..6

Step 16: for these vehichles even with a bypass moduel you will still lose the valet key no big deal tho...diagram in pic 7

Step 17: Take a long peice of thin wire wrap it around the key barrel leaving 2 long ends as in diagram take one of the long ends and wrap it around the chip part of the key (there should be a min of 5 raps on each the barrel and the key) there should be a peice of wire stickin out after you have taped up the key as it will go to one side of the relay and the other wire comming from the key barel will go to the other side of the relay or moduel (programming features are different for all Remote starters so i wont bother with that part)

Step 18: once you have programmed the remotes and set tach (most moduels will do tach sensing but if you need to hook it up you can go to an injector) so remotes are programmed and modeul is programmed try out the locks see if they work then try the start button and voilahh it starts ......

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU SOLDER AND TAPE UP ALL CONNECTIONS >>>PS DO NOT PUT ANYTHING BACK TOGETHER UNTIL IT ALL WORKS IF YOU HAVE ANY TROUBLE FEEL FREE TO CALL ME AT OUR SHOP 780-715-2266 thanks guys hope this is helpful

hmmm. resize your pictures and write after each picture what you're doing.

You did this in an automatic correct? i didn't see a clutch in the picture..

i was contemplating doing a remote start.. but... it just seems like so much work to overide the clutch.. i'll be doing a remote start next week on a mazda3... funn .. not really

word. i can see the clutch in one of your last pics.

You should really really down size those pics and organize the captions a bit better. You're getting me really interested in this now. What remote start did you use.

Looks nice, but completely disables the factory immobiliser having the valet key wired in like that no?

no you dont disable it ;)

blue32: you dont need the whole key inside, just take the code from the key out ;) ,so you have a key inside the car :)

technically you could crack the key open and remove the glass immobiliser chip, that way you'd still have use of your original valet key
