Hi,
I was playing around with the MFD2 in my .:R32, and I noticed the AUX input. After some research, I found out that you cat put in a DVD player or TV tuner and it will play through the centre console.
Has anyone got a DVB tuner in their Golf like this? Has anyone ever used a DVB tuner in a car? I've had analog tuners in other cars, which weren't much use unless you were parked, but I've heard the DVB improves this a lot. Also, do VW produce an OEM DVB tuner? I know they do an OEM analog one, but not sure about DVB. Where could I lay my hands on such an item?
Of course, I'm not suggesting that I would ever think of using the tv tuner whilst driving..!
And I have the Version 3 Navigation DVD. Is there any point updating this? I mean, does it add any new features, or display road names etc., or is it just more up to date maps?
Thanks for your help,
