Metal in oil pan

I changed my oil this weekend and these two pieces were attached to the magnetic drain plug when I picked it up after letting it drop into the drain pan (there's a very small possibility they were in the drain pan, as I also used it for my lawnmower's oil).

The small piece looks like a bit of a drain plug crush washer (same thickness and curve). Any ideas on what the larger piece is? It's thin, rounded on one side and flat on the other.

It's a 2006 mkv gti, 135,000 miles.

That's not good man. Usually means something like the main bearing is beginning to break down. If it's something like that expect to pay about three grand to get it fixed. It's basically an engie rebuild.
