Just installed the fog lights.

When I bought the GTI bumper obviously there were holes for fog lights and my standard 1.4 didn't come with them! So I bought all the shit I needed from Maplins but left it ages.

Anyway i got OEM Fogs on ebay for £28 from HK.
Result.

Wired them in today with a relay etc.

Looks good actually having the standard colour against my HID's.

It's hard if you've never done any 12v stuff before.

Nothing really special about my headlights... they're the FK/Depo/Helix "angel eyes" projector units. I picked them up for around $250 if memory serves me. After about a year and a half, the mini bulbs illuminating the rings began to go, so I retrofitted them with high output cool white LEDs.

These lights will probably be moving over to the wife's UG Jetta in a month or so, as I recently puchased a pair of the OEM HIDs (and need to wait on a back ordered 10-12 pin harness to do it)...

Mate im not too far from you in Leicester, if I decide to go ahead with gti conversion on my car would you be willing to help install fogs at all?
